    New Zealand Firefighters Credit Union (NZFCU) has merged with Credit Union Auckland, effective 20 June 2022.


    What is happening?

    NZ Firefighters Credit Union is merging with Credit Union Auckland to form a strong Credit Union focused on its members and doing the best it can for them.

    When does it take place?

    The merger is effective from June 20 2022

    What does that mean for existing Firefighters members?

    Nothing will change for you other than having greater access to services. Our team in Wellington are still there to help you as well as having our Auckland staff available to help.

    What do I need to become a member?

    A form of original identification (not photocopies) e.g. your driver's licence or passport. Proof of your residential address e.g. bill or other bank accounts not less than 3 months old.

    We are a not-for-profit organisation where we serve you, our member-owners. We are not a bank as our members have ownership rights which means they have a say in how our organisation is run.
