    NZCU Auckland is a public-benefit organization that strives for service over profitability.

    NZCU Auckland is a financial co-operative; however we are not a charity and must make sound financial decisions. We operate under a Trust Deed and are governed by the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982.

    Credit Union Auckland is a Qualified Financial Entity (QFE).

    Full Year Result

    Credit Union Auckland (trading as NZCU Auckland) had a operating surplus of $22,243 in the 2017 Financial Year. Our reserves now stand at $3.746 million and the Trust Deed capital adequacy ratio was 19.58%. The risk weighted capital ratio as required by the Reserve Bank was 18.32%, well above their requirement of a minimum 10%. For further information please see our Annual Report 2017 linked below.
