Here is your chance to help your kids achieve more

These could be your kids this year!

It’s Scholarships time again and we would love to help your children or grandchildren make their school year much happier in 2020.

This is now our 11th year and we will again provide twenty lucky children with money to pay some of the costs for the school year. Scholarships of $250 each will be given to 10 Primary/Intermediate pupils and 10 Secondary pupils will receive $500 each.

The feedback we get from the parents and grandparents of the children we have helped over the years is fantastic. Families know that they will have fewer worries about the cost of sending one of their kids to school with the help of an NZCU Auckland School Scholarship.

And it’s easy to apply for a Scholarship – so regardless of whether your child or grandchild attends a Primary, Intermediate or Secondary School, there’s just one form.

We want all Members with children or grandchildren to put in an application for a Scholarship. It’s so easy. An Application form is available here and also available from any branch. Talk to us about how your children or grandchildren could get their fees and uniforms, books, school trips and other stuff paid for this year.

The children or grandchildren of NZCU Auckland Members are eligible if they or their parents/guardians had at least one active account with the Credit Union as at 1st December 2019. The child must be enrolled at a school recognised by the Ministry of Education for the first term of the 2020 year.

Applications close on 8th February 2020. The final decision as to who get the scholarships will be made after reviewing all the applications and the presentations will be made on Monday 2nd March in conjunction with Children’s Day.
